Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
Cosmic Home is a times tables game for iPhone and iPad, made by one independent developer.
The short version
Cosmic Home does not collect any personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Apart from the game copy kept in your own iCloud, it sends nothing to the developer or to anyone else.
What the app keeps, and where
- Your game (progress, stars, pet, settings) is saved on your device.
- The app keeps a second copy of your game on your device, so progress is not lost.
- The grown-up PIN is saved on your device only.
- Daily Notes: a grown-up can type one short note for the player (up to 120 characters). It is saved with the game on the device and is part of the game's iCloud copy.
- iCloud: the app also keeps a copy of each device's game in your own iCloud, using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This lets the game come back on a new device or after the app is reinstalled. The copy is stored by Apple under your Apple Account. The developer cannot see it. The grown-up PIN is never put in iCloud.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for your name, email, age, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- The two questions before making a grown-up PIN (birth year and age) are checked on the device and not saved.
- It has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it shares nothing with data brokers.
- Apart from the iCloud copy, which iOS keeps in sync, the app does not use the internet. Everything it needs is inside the app.
Third parties
The only company involved is Apple, which provides the App Store and iCloud under its own privacy policy. No other company receives any data from the app.
Children
Cosmic Home does not ask anyone, child or adult, for personal information. Nothing a player does in the game leaves the device, apart from the game copy kept in the family's own iCloud.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Your game stays on your device until you use Reset all progress or delete the app.
- Reset all progress (Grown-ups, then Settings) erases the game on that device and that device's copy in iCloud. Copies from other devices, or from an earlier install of the app, stay until the app's limit of 8 copies pushes them out.
- If you delete the app, its iCloud copy stays in your iCloud so the game can come back later. To remove it, use Reset all progress on that device before deleting the app. The app keeps at most 8 copies in iCloud and removes the oldest first.
- The developer cannot see or delete your iCloud copies. For questions, write to help@cosmichomemath.com.
